Platform · Floor & bookings
Lay out rooms, tables, walls and doors. The same plan gates bookings, auto-assigns tables and shows live on the POS.
One floor plan feeds the reservation gate, the auto-assign, the guest booking page and the live view.
Add rooms and sections, drop in round, square or rectangle tables with seat counts, plus walls and doors. Everything snaps to the grid and autosaves.
Mark which tables combine. A party too big for one table is seated on a linked group, up to a limit you set.
The plan renders read-only on the dashboard and POS, coloured free, seated with a running tab, or reserved. Slow tables flag amber; reservations show a countdown.
Slots open only when a table or combined group is free for the turn time plus a reset buffer. Every booking is auto-assigned a table.
Guests pick a date up to 90 days out and see only times their party fits. Confirmations carry a calendar file and a change-or-cancel link.
One system
Draw it as closely as you like. You add rooms and sections, place tables in three shapes with a seat count each, and drop in walls and doors to match the space. Everything moves by dragging and snaps to a grid, and it saves as you go.
You mark which tables can be pushed together. When a party is too big for any single table, BarOS seats it on a connected group of those linked tables, up to a maximum number you choose. Tables you did not pair are never combined across the room.
Turn time is how long one booking holds a table; the reset buffer is the gap left afterwards to clear it. Together they set how long a table is unavailable, which is separate from how often start times are offered, so two sittings never land on the same table too close together.
Yes. Share your booking link and guests choose a date, a party size and a time. On a floor-capacity venue they only see slots their party can physically be seated in, and they get a confirmation with a calendar file and a link to change or cancel.
The same plan renders on the POS as a live, colour-coded floor: free tables, seated tables with their running tab and time, and reserved tables. It is built to fill a POS screen with finger-friendly tap targets during a busy service.
Only confirmed and fulfilled bookings hold tables, so a cancelled or no-show booking frees its table automatically and that slot opens back up for someone else.
A real person on the phone, not a ticket queue. Lay out a room, turn on bookings, and share the link this afternoon.
